About me...

Let me introduce myself and give you a hint of what you can expect.  My name is Kathryn Robinson, and I am a native of the Northeast Texas area.  My rural foundation is very influential in my counseling style in that I tend to be realistic, plain-spoken, humorous and approachable.  I'm told, also, my Northeast Texas accent is not hard to miss, but don't let that fool you as I am educated and trained to work with numerous mental health issues and people of all kinds.

I have utilized evidenced-based disciplines and techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) combined with solid Christian principles and my own life experiences to build a career in counseling to help others.

How I can help...

My counseling style is centered on evidenced-based disciplines, and I believe in establishing  a solid foundation and teaching coping techniques to help you manage your specific needs.

I provide a variety of counseling options both in-person and online to help accommodate a number of situations.

And to accommodate various financial budgets, I also offer three session length options.

“The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow.

For every challenge encountered there is opportunity for growth.”

Think on These Things...

I am an avid writer and share my experiences, insights, and thoughts in my blog in order to not only get my own thoughts out of my head, but in hopes that someone might also connect with what I have learned.
